The PRB Newtown estate was established in 1985 with 21 2-bedroom flats. The estate is located along Newtown Road (off khalsa Road), Newtown, Suva. In 1995, an additional 51 1-bedroom flats was built bringing the total flat count to 72 units. The estate has a community hall and the flat designs of mainly duplex and few single units
